Rifkin

January 14, 2002 (9:30pm est.)

Since our visit to the St. Francis Inn in St. Augustine, my wife has had vivid, ghostly dreams.  The dreams typically have involved different spirits each time and always the spirit is trying to communicate something.   One particular evening she had another dream which she passed off as "simply a dream", however,  I had a feeling otherwise.  An actual spirit made contact in her dream and he was here right now.  She gave me the details of the dream:

A man in a big, translucent, glowing white light was standing in front of the entrance to some burned down buildings.  The man told her that "She is in control".  She could not see his face, the brightness of the light was too bright to make out any detail.  She assumed the man was Russian as he had a strong accent.  She knew that this place was somewhere in Florida, but did not know where.

Sensing the spirit, I brought out the Ouija board and attempted to make contact.  It did not take long and the force behind the planchette was quite strong.  The planchette moved swiftly across the board better than it has in many, many years.  I could feel I had a strong connection with this spirit.  The spirit's name is "Rifkin", but I am not sure if that is his first or last name.  He did indeed claim to be Russian.

There are reasons why I am convinced that this was certified spirit communication.  The spirit on the board knew details about my wife's dream.  The board spelled the word "vory".   I looked up the word and found out that it is a Russian word for "thief".  He claimed that he died in an apartment fire around 1993.   The planchette was moving very fast, almost in a frenzy to communicate.  I was finally able to get from him where the apartments were located.  The board spelled "Lake Mirror", which I found out was located in central Florida near Lake Placid.  Although I live in Florida, I have never heard of Lake Mirror until then.   He tells us that he was responsible for the fire and that 5 or 6 others died with him.  According to him, the others souls are not at peace and/or do not realize that they are dead.  When I asked if there was anything I could do, the board spelled, "nun".  He confirmed with me that he wanted me to contact a nun regarding the situation.

Mr. Rifkin apparently is still around and has not left, according to some photographs that I took using my digital camera.

I made no brightness or contrast enhancements to the zoomed picture on the right.  A man's face with a mustache and beard can be seen inside the orb.
